The Provision to go to 3rd Year Bible College

Andrew & Laurie's Story

In March 2023, my husband and I made the decision to follow God’s call and attend Bible College in Colorado. Excited yet apprehensive, we began the process of searching for accommodations. Given the high rent costs in Colorado, we initially considered options like a small flat or renting an RV. However, we soon realized that God's plans often diverge from our own, and He would lead us to the best path for our journey.

My husband started praying earnestly for a place within our budget – up to $1,000 a month – that would include all amenities so we wouldn't have to purchase furniture or kitchen items. Additionally, we hoped for a location no more than 45 minutes away from the college campus. As we sought guidance, an unexpected confirmation came from a friend in England who shared a dream she had about us living in a big house on a hill. Initially, I interpreted the dream as a future aspiration to buy a new home.

However, that very same day, as I scrolled through my Facebook feed, I stumbled upon an ad posted by a lady looking for Bible College students to share a house. Intrigued by this sudden inclination towards communal living with other Christian students, I shared the ad with my husband. Upon closer inspection, we realized that the house described was exactly what we had been praying for – and it matched the imagery from the dream: a big house on a hill.

Feeling a deep sense of confirmation, I reached out to the lady and inquired if they would accept us as tenants. To our delight, she welcomed us with open arms. On August 14th, we moved into our new home, and with each passing day, God reaffirmed that this was indeed the place He had directed us to for our time in Colorado.
